I posted this on the Maggie Valley forum but thought I might try here as well - sorry if you have seen it both places! I am trying to plan a short trip for my husbands 30th bday - he says he doesn%26#39;t want to travel without our 65lb baby. We went to Asheville last year and loved it - when I foung Barkwell%26#39;s online I had hoped I found the answer. Does anyone have recent experiences with Barkwell??? Are they really as pet frendly as it seems? Thanks!
Barkwells Experiences???
Hi,
I haven%26#39;t stayed at Barkwell%26#39;s because we live in Asheville, but I have heard about it. The owners are supposed to be lovely people and it does have a very pet-friendly reputation. I hope this helps some, if you don%26#39;t get anyone with first-hand experience.
Barkwells Experiences???
I am going to Barkwell%26#39;s this weekend. My husband and I went in November a few years ago and loved it! Our dog is a runner and didn%26#39;t find a way out of the fenced in area. He actually would walk up to everyone else%26#39;s door. He had the best time ever. My husband and I mainly enjoyed the hot tub. It was nice to just relax on the porch and play cards or eat. We are planning on exploring some stuff during the day and then cook dinner at night. I%26#39;m also having a massage therapist come to the cabin to give us both massages! I%26#39;m very very excited. Here%26#39;s to a great long weekend!
We absolutely loved Barkwells. The dogs loved running around the property and being able to go in the pond. We are planning another trip there this Spring.
