Best Campgrounds in Pisgah National Forest

Family is planning a trip to Pisgah Nat. Forest in July and was wondering if anyone had any camp ground recommendations.-Tent camping.

Best Campgrounds in Pisgah National Forest

There are some great state campgrounds if you don%26#39;t require water and electricity at the campsite. We drove thru several and were impressed with the sites but disappointed about the lack of utilities since I%26#39;m a wussy tent camper. I don%26#39;t remember the names but would recognize them if I saw them so if you need me to I could look them up. I especially liked one just outside of Brevard on the way to Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock.

We are still looking for recommendations of for campgrounds with Tent sites that have water and electricity =D

Family tent camping would be Davidson River for my vote. We take our kids there when we camp in the Pisgah. FYI - you will need reservations to stay there and I encourage you to make them. If you are coming in July to go-online and book as soon as you can. The place will fill up.
