Will it be open in early March from Boone to Asheville?

I%26#39;m staying in High Point one night, should I expect clear driving through to Boone and down to Asheville?

It totally depends on the weather. If it has snowed when you%26#39;ll be there, it%26#39;s a good chance it will be closed, as they do not plow during the winter.

If I don%26#39;t take BRP, is there a scenic alternate route from High Point to Asheville?

To go from High Point to Asheville you basically head north from HP and take I-40 west all the way. No other good route.
