Looking for a nice beach for a small wedding

Hi there! I%26#39;m looking for a nice beach in the Kill Devil Hills/Kitty Hawk/Nags Head area on the Ocean to hold a small wedding of about 15 people. We have an officiant already, and the wedding is to take place Friday 8/15/08 at 5:30PM. A Boardwalk or Gazebo is ideal for pictures, and we need public beach access. We are staying in Avon but looking to have the ceremony further north due to dinner reservations later that night and a trip to the Elizabethan Gardens. Any help is appreciated!

A bit of warning, from experience. Weather can be unpredictable in OBX, when I had my wedding there in 06 there was 50 mph + wind gusts on the ocean side, due to a tropical storm off the coast. Plan the beach side wedding, just be prepared with a back up plan.

Gazebos: Its not the beach but in Manteo there is a nice gazebo over the sound, right in town. I know small weddings have been held there.

Good luck!

It may be too far north if you%26#39;re staying in Avon, but check with the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk. The old Kitty Hawk Pier has been renovated so you could actually have the service out on the end. My cousin was married there last year in a small service... very nice.
