We went to harrahs for sunday to weds. and things were pretty quiet. We played on the blackjack tables and won which is not usual for the tables. We had a really good time this trip. Everything was free and we even won money.

I prefer to go during the week also. Weekends are terribly crowded. We only live an hour away so its much easier for us to go for an evening.

How do you think it is mid-Friday? My friend and I will be heading over for a visit mid-day on a Friday in mid-march. Would either of you suggest anything to do other than just Harrahs? Or any restaurant in particular @ Harrah%26#39;s if we wanted to eat there?

I think that it will be very busy on a friday night.A good resturant to eat at at harrahs is the selu resturnat they have a good menu and the food is priced good. you might want to go to the indian meuseum in cherokee. it was very interesting

Thanks Okittygirl! I think we will probably arrive just after lunchtime on Friday, maybe have a late lunch at Harrah%26#39;s and then take your advice and visit the museum. Thanks again for the advice! We%26#39;ll try that restaurant as well!

BabyStace, It is interesting just to walk through the village. If you are in the area for a day or two the drive from Cherokee to Gatlingburg over the parkway is beautiful.

Selu Garden is not bad. The steak house in Harrahs is pretty good also. You may like the buffet on Friday nights-steak and seafood.

It is usually very busy on Fridays, especially as the day gets later. Friday nights can be a madhouse.
