CIAA Tournament

I will be in Charlotte for the CIAA Tournament later this month. I was able to get a room at the Double Tree. Is it close to the activities. Do I need to rent a car?

Which Doubletree ?- uptown or near the airport? If you are uptown and not planning to go anywhere but the uptown area, you probably won%26#39;t need a car. If you are at the airport DT, you will need a car.
