getting a room at the hotel

I just call the vip or my host and tell them what days we want to come. Have never had a problem getting a room.

getting a room at the hotel

We always book at least two weeks in advance and have never had a problem. Our rooms are always comped also.

I think folks go to Cherokee and expect to always win. That is not the case in any casino I%26#39;ve ever been in. I think a lot of locals go to Cherokee often and of course they will lose more often.

Cherokee is not Vegas and will never be. My play in Cherokee however gives me 5 comped nights twice a year in Vegas. I don%26#39;t win anymore there than I do in Cherokee. Our biggest casino jackpots have been at Cherokee.

Everyone go and have fun. Don%26#39;t expect to walk out a winner everytime.

I called a couple of weeks ago for March and was told there are no rooms. We tried other dates and were told there were no rooms. We aren%26#39;t ';players'; so to speak and we have only been a couple of times in the last four years. I wonder if that is why we cannot get a room. okittygirl, can you call your host for me and tell them to give us a room? LOL Just kidding!!!!

We have been going to Cherokee since the day they opened. We have always had this problem. My parents are diamond members and all they have to do make a call and they get anything they want. To solve this problem, we have started staying in Maggie Valley at a much lower rate, and it is only 15 minutes from Harrah%26#39;s. Not near as crowded, and the food is even better. Try this sometime, you will find you like it much better then trying to stay in Cherokee

There are many great places to stay from Maggie, to Dillsboro to Bryson City all within the 20 minute window to the Casino.

We own cabins here and I am not selling you on ours per TA rules, but if you check out VRBO or other cabin sites you may find a great 2 bedroom for about as much you pay for a hotel room, except you have an entire place to yourself, likely a better view, privacy and most do not charge for extra people, so find another couple and split the costs of a cabin.

Have fun in Cherokee....

Bob

I think we are just going to stop in somewhere in Maggie Valley to stay the night.

As for taking another couple, no way! This is our peace and quiet anniversary trip and there is no way, as much as I love my friends, am I going to share this time with anyone else! LOL Thanks for the info, though!!
