Fishing charters?

Going to be in Kitty Hawk/Duck area in June. We%26#39;re interested in a chartered fishing trip. Could be either ocean or bay. Can anyone offer ideas/comments?

look into Pirates cove or Origin inlet marinas they will be the closest off shore was running around $1200 a day 6 people max but there are also some inshore trips and head baots that are a lot less, they charge by the head so you will have a lot of others on board you will not know

I would recommend Rick Caton he will make a custom charter for you and get you on the fish in shore or off not sure of his limits but it’s a good family trip but you better book soon he books months in advance

Are you looking for offshore or inshore/nearshore charters?

There are many really good boats here, and depending on what you are looking to catch, etc. the boats and prices will be very different.

If you want an offshore trip, the boats will take 6 people and the cost will be about $1500.oo for the boat. Tip for the mate of about $300.00, and that%26#39;s $300.00 per person before food and fish cleaning expenses. For offshore charters I would book the Skiligal or the Pelican-both boats are out of Oregon Inlet and both have great captains. For great inshore fishing call Capt Griggs at Inlet Charters. Full day charters with Inlet will be about $650-700.00 and they also do 1/2 day, and 3/4 day trips.
