Last year we rented a home in Whalehead with other family members...loved it but this year it%26#39;s just the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens. Can%26#39;t find anything within our budget because we don%26#39;t need anything large. I tried to find a smaller home and did have some luck but really want the option of having a pool to swim in as sometimes the beach is too hot for me. I don%26#39;t remember and type of lodging such as motel type lodging etc; however I have been hearing about a community (Corolla Light) that has condos? Is it condos, or houses or both? They have a large community pool? Can we find something economical? Do we go through some agency or are there owners that rent their units, etc. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!! Need to get this done now before everything%26#39;s booked~ it%26#39;s my husband%26#39;s 50th birthday, my twins 16th birthday and our 20th anniversary~ I better come up with something quick!!
Corolla on a budget?? Possible?
Corolla Light Resort and Currituck Club have community pools.
You can try VRBO.com or any of the many reputable agencies mentioned on the various obx forums...among them Village Realty, Resort Quest, Twiddy, Brindley, and several others. Their sites have lots of maps, Twiddy does aerial views; descriptions of communities, options to search by size and area; I%26#39;ve seen one with an option to search by price but can%26#39;t remember which one that was.
Corolla Light has condos and a few styles of townhouses as well as the single family.
Currituck Club has some condos, Windswept Ridge, which we were pleasantly surprised has some good views, some of the sound as well as ocean.
