Cabin Rental in Saluda/Hendersonville Area

I am planning a two week vacation to the Saluda/Hendersonville area the latter part of June. Has anyone stayed in a great cabin in the area?

I have friends who stayed at the Cabin Fever located in Saluda but a couple miles from the town just off route 176 on the way to Hendersonville.

They stayed in the cabin which allows dogs. The dog and our friends were very pleased with their lodging. As much as I like Saluda I don%26#39;t think I would want to stay there for two weeks. I highly recommend The Purple Onion restaurant in Saluda. Also visiting Pearsons Falls 3 miles south of Saluda on route 176 and 4 miles from Tryon

I agree about Saluda - I%26#39;d stay in Hendersonville/Brevard area - closer to things to see and do.

I really, really like Saluda, Tryon and Cabin Fever has some great cabins so if I had a choice I would stay one week in Saluda, then move maybe to Brevard, Highlands, Cashier, somewhere to that area. Saluda is still more peaceful, relaxing unless you are planning to come around the time of the Coon Dog Day Parade. I think it is the first or second Saturday in July. There are also Highland Lake Cabins in Hendersonville but the area is noisy lately with all road construction going on and it looks like this noise and inconvenience is going to last for a long time.
