We are going to be in Raleigh for a weekend coming up soon. Most of the morning on Saturday I%26#39;ll be taking a certification exam, but we are looking for ';must do%26#39;s'; for the rest of the day/evening. Any restaurant recs? We are staying in the Cameron Park area on saturday evening.
Thanks!
What to do in Raleigh?
Well, there%26#39;s the typical things that people come to the Capital City to do. See the State Capital, Governor%26#39;s Mansion, etc. Maybe visit the state museums of Art, Science or History. Or see a movie at the downtown IMAX. Perhaps a show/concert at Memorial Auditorium. Maybe go dancing at a nightclub or see some live jazz at a bar downtown. Sounds like you%26#39;ll be very very close to all of that.
Downtownraleigh.org and downtownraleigh.com will be good sites to find info on those.
Some good restaurants in that area: Bistro 607, Irregardless Cafe, The Globe, Frazier%26#39;s, Porter%26#39;s, Riviera, The Pit, Humble Pie, Sushi Blues, Zely %26amp; Ritz, 18 Seaboard, J Betski%26#39;s, Duck %26amp; Dumpling, Cafe Luna, Tony%26#39;s Italian Cafe, Yancey%26#39;s, 42nd Street Oyster Bar. And many more.
